English Pool (8 Ball)

Pockets is without doubt the number one venue in Newport for English Pool, if not Wales. With four 'Supreme' tables and Ultra Fine cloths, this is no competition!

With two Senior County Teams, and a Junior County Team, the standard of the tables is expected to be high and every visiting team as has agreed that Pockets is "the best venue in Wales". Newport Pockets have been crowned Division 4 Champions. All sides are open to all abilities so if you're looking to get into competitive pool, come into the club and speak tosomeone about it. In addition to the 3 County sides, Pockets is also to host 4 mens' Sunday League teams (all within the top 3 divisions of the NEWPORT DISTRICT POOL LEAGUE 2000) and 2 women's Wednesday League teams, so if you're looking to get involved in a team, there is something for everyone!
